Instead of letting plastic waste flow into rivers and oceans, Plastic Bank empowers local communities, especially in regions with limited economic opportunity, to collect ocean-bound plastic and exchange it for income and essential benefits like food vouchers, schooling supplies, or healthcare. This creates a verifiable, impact-driven cycle: plastic is collected, given value, and then recycled into raw materials known as Social Plastic®, which brands can use to make new products. Through blockchain-verified tracking and community programs, Plastic Bank ensures transparency and real social benefit.
